Soo. The second litter (ha). Caoimhe, Finn (short for Finnick?) and Ceinlys.
Another set of triplets? Twins and one other? All separate (lawd)? Werewolves? I'm thinking of making Ceinlys one since there's a whole... Three female wolves? One's dead anyway. Amaris has been "dead" for awhile and Casey is stuck in Baine's lap.
Me thinks Ceinlys will mostly take after her mum. Especially since the litter are all mini Devs (not really). I'm debating a personality, for I'd like to tackle a not yet seen dynamic.
Also these kids will be spoiled. So much. Gwen, Ferdy and Remy will be too (what kind of grandfather would Lucy be if he didn't spoil all his grandkids?). But Finn, Caoimhe and Ceinlys have Baine, too. Ponies and brooms. Everywhere.
I'm curious as to Gwen, Ferdy and Remy's integration with Petra. And then more siblings. Obviously Devlin can hop back into Pet's lap without a second thought, but his kids? I know Gwen would like her, but she -loves- her Aunt Issy. Instant role model right there. Actually Gwen would probably have a comical Jade-like reaction to Petra at first.

No, Finn is short for Finn in this case : D
I'm going to shift some things around with Remy and Ferdinand to make this work... especially since there is a character named Evander that keeps cropping up in my notes?
Remy is brash and selfish, Ferdinand is sweet and giving. Remy will probably never get along with the rest of the Timberwoods quite well, he having more of a connection with his mother's LIFESTYLE (not her, he can't stand her. but he can never be satisfied, he compares his old life to the one now and would rather go to Russia with Mum). Ferdie, in contrast, will find a home with this family because they accept him for who he is (not just as a werewolf). He quickly attaches himself to Petra once he sees her and his father and hearing about how she used to stay with him when he turned.
Finn: is not going to be as brash as his mother, but the first thing I thought of with his character is that he is going to be brave. Like, stereotypical Gryffindor brave. Why? Because he and his step-brother are going to clash. Finn has what I call a 'Harry Potter' complex (it's how his mother will describe it); he gets picked on for being the son of a wolf and the stepbrother of a wolf... and he fights back tooth and nail. His patronus will be a polecat, house either Gryffindor or Slytherin. If he had a typified personality, it'd be an INFP.
Caoimhe: I may not make her; five kids might be enough.
That's not the real reason why. I honestly cannot think of a personality for her. I feel compelled to put her in Ravenclaw, but that'd make her 'another Ravenclaw female Playfair' thing. I honestly have a better idea as to what Cormac's twins will be like... haha.

I can foresee Devlin already wanting to wring Remy's neck and threatening to send him to Merlin-knows-where his real mother is on a daily basis. He IS a good father, but does carry his own father's fantastical trait of 'if you disrespect your mother (or in this case, Petra), I will eat you.' And of course he doesn't want his kid to be tyrants like some other brother's kid. Nor will he let his little Jadlings (...haha) patronize Petra. Gwendolyn has a fairly big sense of adventure, so I imagine she'll warm up fast. She'll happily give up a moment of 'being girly and cute' to wrestle or roll down a hill.
By step-brother you mean half-brother, right P': ?Theyareboundbybloodwethertheylikeitornot.
Ha, I have few clues as to what I'm going to do with Ceinlys myself. I'd like to give her something else that sets her apart from the other girls (not overly snarky or demure). Or in the case if many of my characters it may take a bit of playing to get a feel first. Or maybe I'll just scroll through some adjectives and find ones I fancy. As for her house? Godknows.

After a spot of thinking I believe I know what I want to do with Ceinlys. She's a mute from birth. She can make a few garbled noises, laugh and cry, but other than that, not much. She's perceptive, often spending more time listening than giving her say.
Gwendolyn means well when it comes to Ceinlys, but tends to mimic her mother by giving her restrictions when given the authority, as she fears for her safety due to lack of voice. On the other hand I imagine she'd be gifted a well trained animal (I'm thinking a small dog or bird) to give any sort of distress signal if needed.
With reasons obvious, speech dependent classes (Transfigurations, Charms) are an uphill battle for her. Herbology and Potions come more naturally to her. She enjoys reading and rather loves getting to essays.
For those fairly perceptive, she is relatively easy to understand without the use of any official variety of sign language. I imagine that she'd communicate exceptionally well with her mother and father. Her frustrations with Gwen and her restrictiveness tend to fall on deaf ears, however. Ceinlys is not particularly fond of feeling trapped in.
She's a werewolf, so I imagine she'd get on well with Ferdinand, having a whole other layer of communication.
Lycanthropy and lack of voice would make for few, but close friends, I think.

For myself: timeline of birthdays for all my new-generation characters. The triplets and others are the baseline.
Remy, Ferdinand, and Gwen Timberwood/ Moses Fox / Harvey Hext (baseline) Tom Fox / Daniel Hext (two years after) Ceinlys and Finn Timberwood / Alma and Arthur Faulkner / Leona Fox / (six years after) Daisy Fox (seven years after)
I have to edit Finn and Arthurs's histories... but, that would mean that when Ceinlys and Finn are first-years, their half-siblings are in their sixth. Does that sound right?

Something like that.
